My NEW 2020 collection ... I wrap raw Amethyst, gem quality blue Kyanite, Congo Citrine,
Chalcedony, green Aventurine, Lapis Lazuli, Smoky Quartz from Madagascar, Colorado, Arkansas
and Brazil, Lemurian Quartz and more
using organic, reclaimed veg tanned leather and exotic leather from handbag,
leather goods and closed accessories factories and manufacturers and, at times, will inlay
round or baguette diamonds (white, champagne, pink, blue, red, yellow, green), pink topaz,
sapphires, emeralds, rubies into the leather.
Chain offered with each piece is blackened, lead and cadmium free brass made in the U.S.A.

My previous collection, and designs I'm still creating, includes precious and semi-precious stones inlaid into or wrapped with leather. I take it to the next level by hand-painting on the leather, if the design calls for it.

Whenever available and disclosed, I use conflict-free Diamonds (many are recycled from old, discarded jewelry), Sapphires,
Rubies, Emeralds, Turquoise, Labradorite, Topaz, Druzy, Beach Stones & Glass etc from around the world … and much more.

14kt and 18kt gold, including sterling and lead, nickel and cadmium free brass, copper and bronze made in the U.S.

I'm about to create a line which incorporates Amate Bark Paper from Mexico, Marbled Indian Cotton Rag Paper,
​Marbled Mulberry Momi Paper, Egyptian Papyrus Paper, Metallic Mulberry Paper and other exciting material.

Other exciting new material I've worked with ...

SURFITE is the byproduct of handcrafted surfboards.
The shaped board is put on a stand, layers of resin are applied.
Excess resin drops off the boards, and the layers slowly build up over time.
The layers vary in width, and the colors can be opaque, translucent, or clear.

FORDITE is a unique automotive enamel material with an interesting history.
Also known as Detroit agate, Fordite is old automobile paint which has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished.
It was formed from the build up of layers of enamel paint slag on tracks
and skids on which cars were hand spray-painted (a now automated process),
​which have been baked numerous times.
In recent times the material has been recycled as eco-friendly jewelry.
The original layered automotive paint slag “rough” was created from the over-sprayed paint in the car painting bays.
Fordite is a great piece of automotive history.

TORNADO STONE aka Michigan Firebrick Cabochon is actually the old firebrick lining of the
copper smelter smokestacks from the late 1800's and early 1900's.
